Cyberlaw and Privacy - Monster’s paranoia

I have always been hesitant, even resistant, to blah-ogs. Hence I have not written much on this site. That said, I do not want this site to be entirely idle.

Now that I am taking a course in Cyberlaw and Privacy and I fear I may curb my words even more than if had I not taken this seminar. More to be revealed shortly. In the meantime consider this: for all the words that you carelessly (or not) fling into cyberspace, do you know if or how this information will be used? Will it be used for or against you? Have you considered and consciously chosen to give up your right to that small piece of privacy? Are you comfortable with the fact that your information and data (yes, your words) could indefinitely linger in this virtual world and come back to haunt you a decade from now? Just a thought…

Or do you believe your words will make you famous?
