First, The Littlest Monster adores photo booths, fictitious propaganda, “missing” or “wanted” posters, bubble baths, adventures in dark alleys, underground tunnels, caves, castles, chemistry sets, pyrotechnics, squishing things between her little toes, squishing her friends, and perpetual adventures. Whereas she despises gout, cat scratch fever, frauds, those with delusions of grandeur, egomaniacs/narcissists, star f*ckers, and malleable minions and followers.

Note: The Littlest Monster adores tall, brainy, perceptive, well-read, articulate, creative men (not man-children) who are both ruggedly handsome and firm in spirit.

The Littlest Monster regularly absorbs information on nano-technology, prosthetics utilizing electronically conductive plastics (70 mv), neurology, pathology, toxicology (various), chaos theory, calculus, the application of simple algorithms to resolve complex technical issues resulting in accurate results, stoic philosophy and utilitarianism.

The Littlest Monster loves to devour chocolate and cheese, seafood (in particular: halibut, oysters, caviar, prawns, tuna tartar, crab, lobster, salmon, shark, swordfish), all fruits (but especially: mango, peach, kiwi, and black berries), all veggies, filet mignon (almost rare), mashed potatoes, mac ‘n’ cheese, and pickled things. Her favorite breakfasts incorporate both the sweet & the savory.

Littlest Monster’s poisons consist of Pinot Evil, Aviation, Singapore Sling, a well-made Sidecar, Rum, Sambuca, Absinthe, Chartreuse, Guinness, Boddington, Lambic, Chocolate Milk, and Pink Lemonade.

Littlest Monster feasts her eyes to feed her brain on too many books to enumerate but clear regulars over the years are Marcus Aurelius, Umberto Eco, DSM-IV, PDR, CEB - California Criminal Procedure & Practice, Gray’s Anatomy, and an old favorite: the OED, magnifying glass included.

Littlest Monster’s yummy flicks (generally and specifically) consist of those directed by Errol Morris, John Waters, Fritz Lang, Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmush, and Russ Meyers. She especially really likes documentaries and mockumentaries such as Fast, Cheap & Out of Control, Confessions of a Superhero, Mr. Death, Beyond the Mat, Air Guitar Nation, Eyes of Tammi Faye, Jesus Camp (I could list that under horror as well), Nazi Pop Twins, and The Zimmermans. For pure entertainment Littlest Monster absorbs Asia Extreme (Especially: Old Boy, Lady Vengance, Sympathy for Mr. Vengance), Six String Samurai, The House of Yes, Secretary, Dead Man, The Man Who Wasn’t There, The Hunger, Spider, Freeway, Cecil B. Demented, God’s & Monsters, … I will end it there as there are many more she gnaws on, time permitting. Littlest Monster used to fry her brain with TV to escape an unhappy situation but no longer watches the b.o.x.

Regular mind candy & fluff for a teeny tiny monster consists of these magazines & cartoonists: Esquire, The Economist, Color’s by Benetton, Harper’s, New Yorker, Perry Bible Fellowship, Red Meat, and This Modern World. And, of course, I listen to MuSiK until my ears bleed.
